On November 12, BUNGO PRINCESS, a General Cargo Ship built in 2009 (13 years old) and currently sailing under the flag of Panama, collided with a fishing vessel in Keelung, Taiwan. According to information, the fishing vessel was cut in two, literally, and sank, and 7 fishermen on board were rescued.
The ship left the keel bound for Kaohsiung, Taiwan, but after the collision, the BUNGO Princess (IMO: 9496654, MMSI 355091000) returned to Keelung for investigation. The collision supposedly occurred due to dense fog.
